Happy Birthday

Hello, its a couple of peoples birthdays and I needed to make quick cards! So here they are; bit of wallpaper, paint, card, chop chop, glue done! :) I made the below one first, ran out of pink card, made the other. Which do you like best? xx

Here's a picture I uploaded before. It's of my friend Helen. I like the figure but went a bit far and ruined the rest of it.. Oops. I didin't want to go to it and ruin it more, so I have only just done it. I washed over the background to put the focus on the main figure and to discuise the rubbishy splats which were ..errr... kind of horrible...

I like :) What do you think?

Inside My ... Room (not Head fortunatly!)

Just to show you some things in my room which I quite like..

• Idea for hanging jewelery. I hate it when its all everywhere and tangled up, so, one day I popped out to our garage and picked up a few quite long nails and a hammer. My bedroom wall is thin so I had to be careful but nailed them on the wall and now I can hang up all of my things. I think its really useful as they're just there to grab and looks good too. Here are just two that I have left. ( I got a lovely dressing table- which I also found in our garage, thanks dad for collecting crap- and the mirror blocked quite a bit of the wall where these were hanging, so i took them out and filled them over. Father has taught me well!)
• Pen storage/ brush storage etc.. I'm not sure if I saw this somewhere, or just thought it was a good idea. I did this ages ago so I can't remember. These are just food cans which I think look good and do the job rather well. They are pretty durable, but if anything happens or I want more, then I guess I'd need to eat more soup or whatever. :) I've seen some recently where they have been pained and look all coloured and glossy- might try this next time.
  

• 

• Belt and Scarf Storage. I don't know if thats what this contraption was actually made for, but I found it in mothers wardrobe and think its ace! I can hang everything up. (Unfortunatly it won't fit anywhere near inside my wardrobe as its tiny. So it hangs here for now.) Next to that you can see a bit of my CD collection, Which I must say is pretty shocking and I do like to colour code it so thats the only reason you may look at it. :) p.s. I like to colour code things so they look nicer and less of a clutter, such as my wardrobe is colour coded and I have two shelves which one is pinky and the other blue and the small top one has sort or random or orangy things on. Shelves are mosty used for MMP 'make myself pretty' things.

• Curtains- Found in garage! :D Bargain. I think they look really great with the rest of my mis-matched room and they are the perfect fit. I can only guess they used to be in the lounge or dining room at our old cottage. Probably the best find! Curtain ties I aquired yesterday. They were wrapped around a blanket as part of the packaging when I bought one the other week in Primani actually! It's great they are a pair and fit well. I am thinking of tieing some sort of bow onto them to look a bit nicer. (Before I had these I used mismatched belts.)

• Storage.. The smallest box is from my friend Aisling, I think it's from Bazzare. (spelling?!)...It's really pretty. The second was part of a gift set. I really like the vibrancy and that it has a glitter top. The third, is what I wanted to post about really. I made it froma shoe box. It is covered in stamps and I remember making it when I was small, and as I have remembered and have this one, I have made loads since and have given them as presents etc. :) Your special if you have one of these :P Box four was also a gift set box, and I think it does have part of the gift set in, candles etc. It's from Boots, and I love the colours again.
  

My room has lots of weird and wonderful things in it although its teeeny tiny. These are just a few things I like and wanted to share. I'm thinking of making a comic book chair, like the same collagey idea from the box soon. but i have nowhere to put it .. maybe I could sell it. I just want to make it really...
